Senior Compensation Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of our compensation programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring our pay practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizationalgoals, while supporting a complex healthcare workforce.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in compensation analysis, Workday, and market benchmarking, along with the ability to partner effectively across HR, leadership, and recruiting.
What You'll Do
- Support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and incentive plans that are aligned with organizational strategy, market competitiveness, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct ongoing market analysis, using salary surveys and industry data to ensure competitive positioning for annual increases, market adjustments, and merit planning.
- Partner with recruiting team to develop competitive and equitable offer recommendations.
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert for compensation processes and reporting.
- Conduct job evaluation for new and existing roles, with a focus on hourly positions
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to provide guidance on pay decisions, compensation policies, market competitiveness
- Manage participation in salary surveys and analyze results to identify trends
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and compensation regulations (including FLSA, pay transparency regulations, etc.)
- Provide occasional support for benefits-related initiatives, including data analysis, vendor coordination, or program administration as needed
- Collaborate with Total Rewards team to ensure alignment across compensation and benefits programs
What you bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years' compensation analysis experience
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and attention to detail
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of compensation principles, market benchmarking, and pay structures
Preferred
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Professional certification (CCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar)
- Experience supporting union environments or labor negotiations
- Exposure to or experience supporting employee benefits programs
