Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join a thriving biotech company based out of RTP, NC. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week.Essential Duties of the Senior Compensation AnalystOperate as an internal consultant to provide broad-based compensation and policy support to HR, managers, and employeesPerform detailed job evaluation of new or revised positions, determining classification, exemption status, and market competitive salariesEnsure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of compensation and job evaluation data used for analyses, reporting, and program administrationValidate job requirements by analyzing jobs, including interviewing knowledgeable persons, studying completed questionnaires, and observing duties performedQualifications of the Senior Compensation AnalystBachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, finance, psychology, or related field5+ years of progressive compensation experience with an HR function1+ years of corporate or consulting experience in the life sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, etc.)Knowledgeable in compensation theory and local, state and federal laws and regulations, such as the FLSA, Equal Pay Act, minimum wage, overtime, and record-keeping requirementsExperience utilizing compensation survey data (Radford & Mercer industry surveys preferred)Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; able to build and navigate complex spreadsheets through the use of formulas, pivot tables, and chartsCompensation for the Senior Compensation Analyst$110,000-$130,000 (based on experience)Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by lawThis job opens for applications on 6/25/26.
