    Description

    • Lead Product safety compliance & performance certification from concept to production with cross region team. Define product compliance plan to ensure different region regulation conformity. • Review product designs to prevent and resolve non-compliances and incompatibilities. Plan, coordinate, execute or support both internal and external Lab compliance testing. • Support continuing compliance activities both before and after product certification, lead to define suitable certification process for incubation project. • Monitor relevant standards defining power conversion & new electrical distribution systems in China and around the world and maintain and disseminate the knowledge to the rest of the engineering organization. • Influence the development of international/China new electrical distribution system standards by providing technical input at meetings and joining associations, committees, and working groups. • Mentor junior technical engineers. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. • 8+ years' certification experience in the power conversion & protection field. • Strong knowledge of global certification regulation and standards (UL, EU directives, UKCA, CCC, etc.). • Knowledge of power conversion & low voltage circuit breaker safety standards and regulations (codes), e.g., IEC 62477-1, UL1741, GBT34120, GBT34133, GB/T14048, IEC60947, UL489, etc. • Knowledge of related grid code regulation, e.g. EN50549-1/-2-10, VED4105/4110, etc. • Previous experience working, negotiating and interfacing with certification bodies (UL. TUV, SGS, DEKRA, Intertek, etc.) • Experience with hands-on power conversion or circuit breaker testing and proficiency with laboratory tools (multi meters. oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators etc.) • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Fluent in English and Chinese. Preferred Skills • Previous hands-on hardware design experience (analog and digital design, energy battery storage systems, HVDC systems, power conversion) : : 009JX7
