Proficiency in FPGA workflows, System-on-Chip designs, Digital Signal Processing, and Microcontroller functionality is necessary. Mastery in VHDL and C/C++ programming on Linux platforms is demanded, alongside experience with userspace driver creation, ADCs/DAC interfacing, and digital communication protocols (such as RS232/RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN). Familiarity with high-speed signaling technologies and SoC interconnect mechanisms (e.g., AXI) is required.

The role involves design and development (50%), laboratory and field testing (30%), and project leadership (20%). Candidates must demonstrate a capability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.

Desired skills include experience with acoustic sensor system design, SoC workflows, and technical content creation for innovative projects. Experience in hands-on integration, testing, and familiarity with electronic lab equipment are highly advantageous.
