Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA. HNI provides enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve installations and bases, delivering technical and policy support, as well as C3I infrastructure for USAF enterprise applications.
In this role, you will provide configuration management (CM), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) management, quality assurance (QA), program/project (PP), requirements analysis (RA), risk management (RM), and software engineering (SE) support services. You will ensure data and configuration integrity across the acquisition lifecycle while working closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environment.
Responsibilities:In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Manage configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes, and notices.
Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts and archive acquisition documentation.
Develop and administer configuration management plans, ensuring design traceability and integrity.
Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
Review and analyze contractor CM programs, CDRL data deliverables, and proposed changes for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and operational impact.
Prepare for and conduct major audits, including Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs).
Track Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Problem Reports (PRs).
Support pre- and post-contract award data reviews and track deliverables and responses.
Provide QA checks on system baselines and manage product baselines, including major/minor releases, patches, and software maintenance.
Maintain the CM library and software repository, and support licensing, packaging, and delivery of software.
Ensure compliance with DoDI 5230.24, DODD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, DoD 5000.02-R, DFARS 252.227-7013/7014, and the ASSIST database.
Audit/review IT system configurations and oversee CM self-inspection checklists.
Support reporting, meeting attendance, capture minutes, and provide CM/DM input into program documentation.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Active Secret, with ability to obtain Top Secret if required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in a related field
Technical Skills
Proficiency in configuration and data management tools, CM/DM workflows, and CDRL tracking systems
Strong knowledge of Air Force SEAM CM processes, DoDI/AFI acquisition policies, and contract data deliverables
Experience conducting and supporting PCAs, FCAs, CCBs, TRBs, and DRRBs
Familiarity with software repositories, licensing, and baseline management for IT systems
Interpersonal Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead meetings, capture action items, and report status to senior stakeholders
Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, integrated product team environment
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing data and documentation integrity
