What You’ll Need:
Proven Experience: VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more.
Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Required Certifications:
VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
VDOT Asphalt Field
VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I)
VDOT Pavement Marking
VDOT Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Certification for Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection; DEQ preferred
VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
VDOT Full Depth Reclamation
VDOT Guardrail
VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
OSHA 10-Hour Construction

Enforce Standards: Maintain rigorous adherence to VDOT standards and federal regulations.
Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside experienced engineers, contractors, and agency personnel.
