The GOR Group is partnering with an industry-leading mission critical infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager – Division 27 to lead structured cabling and low-voltage construction on complex data center and critical infrastructure projects.
This is an opportunity for a proven construction leader who thrives in fast-paced environments where coordination, execution, and accountability directly impact project success. You'll oversee Division 27 operations from planning through turnover while partnering with electrical, security, and construction teams to deliver world-class infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing
As the Senior Construction Manager – Division 27, you'll provide leadership for all structured cabling and communications infrastructure activities while ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Project & Field Leadership
- Lead all Division 27 field operations across multiple mission-critical construction projects.
- Manage Foremen, field supervisors, self-perform crews, and subcontractors.
- Drive daily production while maintaining schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Maintain accountability for execution from project startup through final turnover.
Construction Execution
- Oversee installation of structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Coordinate installation sequencing to align with project milestones and release schedules.
- Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are available to support production goals.
- Remove field obstacles that impact productivity or schedule.
Cross-Trade Coordination
Partner closely with project teams supporting:
- Division 26 Electrical
- Division 28 Electronic Safety & Security
- General Contractors
- Mechanical and Structural trades
- Client representatives
- Commissioning teams
Ensure work between all disciplines remains coordinated throughout construction.
Quality & Turnover
- Enforce installation standards and quality expectations.
- Oversee testing, punch list completion, documentation, and turnover readiness.
- Support commissioning activities and operational readiness.
- Ensure installations meet customer and project specifications.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor Foremen and field leaders.
- Develop scalable construction teams capable of executing independently.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Drive communication between project leadership and field operations.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction management or field operations experience.
- Experience leading Division 27, structured cabling, or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Proven success managing self-perform crews and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and communications infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating multiple construction trades in complex environments.
- Ability to manage project schedules, sequencing, manpower planning, and production.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data center or mission-critical construction experience.
- Experience coordinating Division 26 (Electrical) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety & Security) scopes.
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and project turnover processes.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Trade background in structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or electrical construction.
- Knowledge of BICSI standards and structured cabling best practices.
