Immediate need for a talented Senior Construction Safety Engineer | Data Center | CSP/CHST | Mission Critical Projects. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in El Paso, TX(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. Job ID: 26-17626 Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.) Key Responsibilities: Lead construction safety initiatives on mission-critical infrastructure projects. Perform project risk assessments and develop safe work execution plans. Support construction teams throughout installation, commissioning, and startup activities. Conduct field safety inspections and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Partner with contractors, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain Zero Incident project goals. Lead incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and lessons learned. Develop and improve Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs and best practices. Review construction methods, safety plans, and work permits. Evaluate safety impacts of new construction methods, materials, and equipment. Support retrofit projects within active data centers and occupied mission-critical facilities. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety requirements, and industry best practices. Build strong cross-functional relationships to promote a proactive safety culture. Maintain project documentation, reports, safety metrics, and communication updates. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 5+ years of Construction Safety, EHS, or Loss Control experience Experience supporting: Data Center Construction Mission Critical Facilities Industrial Construction Advanced Manufacturing Semiconductor Facilities Power Generation Large Commercial Construction Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Risk Assessments Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Incident Investigation Contractor Safety Management Safety Audits Field Inspections OSHA Regulations Construction Safety Standards Electrical Safety Mechanical Systems Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Confined Space Fall Protection Permit-to-Work Programs General Contractors MEP Contractors Construction Managers Project Engineers Ground-up Construction Greenfield Projects Retrofit Construction Live Data Center Environments Fast-Track Design-Build Projects Microsoft Project Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word PowerPoint Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) BCSP Certifications OSHA 30 Construction Experience with Mission Critical or Hyperscale Data Centers Knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Infrastructure Experience supporting high-value capital construction projects Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
