Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Construction Scheduler to serve as the company’s scheduling subject matter expert. You’ll independently build and manage CPM schedules across multiple projects, lead scheduling on the largest and most complex work, and set the standards other schedulers and project teams follow. You’ll partner with executive leadership, preconstruction, project management, and field operations to spot risk early and keep projects on track.

What you’ll do:

Develop complete CPM schedules from construction documents, and conceptual schedules from schematic designs, narratives, or limited information, with minimal team input.
Set logical durations, relationships, and sequencing based on means and methods and real field experience.
Manage multiple active schedules at once, keeping them accurate and aligned with project milestones.
Lead scheduling on the company’s largest, most complex, and highest-risk projects.
Analyze delays, disruptions, and scope changes, and build recovery schedules, mitigation plans, and alternate sequencing.
Evaluate schedule impacts from owner changes, weather, procurement issues, and unforeseen conditions.
Review schedules from other schedulers and project teams for logic, sequencing, and critical path accuracy.
Mentor junior schedulers, delegate work across projects, and coach PMs and superintendents on CPM best practices.
Build and maintain company-wide scheduling standards, templates, and reporting.

What you bring:

10+ years of commercial construction experience, including 7+ years directly owning CPM schedules.
Significant field operations, project management, or project controls background (superintendent experience preferred).
Expert-level Microsoft Project skills and deep knowledge of durations, logic ties, float, and critical path.
Strong understanding of sequencing and coordination across all major trades.
Experience leading or mentoring schedulers or project controls staff.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with superintendents, PMs, owners, architects, and subs.
OSHA 30 required. PMI-SP, PSP, or CCM preferred.
Preferred: scheduling experience on K-12, commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or other large-scale projects.
