Senior Construction Superintendent
Location: Hauppauge, NY (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 base + discretionary bonus
About the Role
A well-established construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is seeking two Senior Superintendents to lead field operations on complex commercial construction projects. This is a senior field leadership position with full ownership of on-site execution — directing crews, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, and driving projects to completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all site construction activities from groundbreaking to closeout
- Ensure full OSHA safety compliance across all project phases
- Schedule and coordinate all required inspections
- Monitor and resolve project issues proactively
- Maintain comprehensive daily logs and documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Perform and oversee quality control inspections
- Manage labor, equipment, and material logistics at scale
- Lead field teams, foreman meetings, and coordination sessions
- Prepare short-term and look-ahead schedules
- Review monthly requisitions with Project Management
- Manage site access, security, and logistics
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with senior-level project responsibility
- Deep knowledge of commercial construction methods, means, and sequencing
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability under pressure
- Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- OSHA training/certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Associate's degree or higher in construction management, civil engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Autodesk Build
- Track record on commercial projects in the $10M–$50M+ range
- Experience managing multiple concurrent job sites
