Position Overview:
We are seeking a senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Manufacturing and Cost Accounting. In this role, you will lead and deliver a variety of industrial enhancements, continuous improvement initiatives, and small-to-medium strategic projects across our manufacturing and operational facilities. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, plant managers, and IT teams to optimize business processes, configure JDE E1 modules, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
"Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of industrial enhancements and minor projects from requirements gathering and blueprinting to configuration, testing, user training, and go-live support.
"Functional Configuration: Configure and support standard and customized JDE E1 Manufacturing modules (Shop Floor Control, Product Data Management/Bills of Material & Routing, Material Requirements Planning - MRP) and Cost Accounting modules (Product Costing, Manufacturing Accounting).
"Process Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and cost accounting procedures to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and system optimization.
"Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between plant operations, finance/controlling teams, and technical developers to translate business needs into functional specifications.
"Testing & Documentation: Design test scenarios, execute integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), and maintain comprehensive functional design documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and end-user training materials.
"Support & Troubleshooting: Provide tier-3 functional troubleshooting and resolution for complex manufacturing and cost accounting issues within the JDE environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
"Experience: 8+ years of hands-on functional consulting experience implementing and supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1 9.1 or 9.2 preferred).
"Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes, shop floor operations, inventory control, and standard/actual cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
"Module Proficiency: Proven expertise in JDE E1 Manufacturing (PDM, SFDC, MRP) and Financial/Cost Accounting (Product Costing, Manufacturing Accounting, General Ledger).
"Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience managing small projects, enhancements, or work streams independently using structured project methodologies.
"Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
