We are seeking a Senior Consultant in the US to support our clients. This senior role blends Big 4-level audit expertise with controller-level accounting management, including accrual-based financial reporting, month/year-end close, internal controls, and direct client engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, inventory, and revenue recognition.
Publish accurate and timely monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Coordinate and submit required regulatory reports in collaboration with internal departments.
Research technical accounting issues to ensure ongoing compliance with standards.
Manage month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, and annual audits.
Maintain rigorous quality control for all financial transactions and reporting.
Direct government reporting and tax filings to ensure full local, state, and federal compliance.
Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls to strengthen business processes.
Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers and accountants.
Execute additional controller duties to support the Company’s financial health.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a senior accountant or financial controller.
10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly US GAAP.
Proficiency in preparing accurate financial statements.
Expertise in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Proficient in accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
