Senior Content Strategist - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Content Strategist for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is a hybrid position.

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Thought Leadership Strategy & Creation, the Senior Content Strategist will own the strategy and execution of a fast-growing, high-volume content program dedicated to the financial advisor career. This is a genuine opportunity to build a new program and scale a light publishing cadence into a full content ecosystem which may include articles, video, a candidate newsletter, and field enablement materials. This role exists to ensure that accurate, balanced, compelling information about the advisor career reaches candidates, advisors, and recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy and execution for the advisor career content program end to end, including the editorial calendar, topics, formats, and cadence
• Produce and oversee a high volume of written and video content, identifying compelling story angles and directing content development
• Help shape an accurate, balanced, and credible narrative around the advisor career across channels and platforms
• Equip the field advisors and recruiters with go-to-market materials such as emails, social posts, and other assets
• Nurture candidates through the hiring funnel, helping prospects stay informed and engaged
• Build a newsletter program for advisor career candidates from concept to execution
• Manage content across multiple content publishing platforms
• Partner with subject matter experts, compliance teams, and creative partners to ensure accuracy and meet regulatory standards
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of content across channels, ensuring the program steadily grows in reach, engagement, and impact

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, journalism, communications, marketing, etc.)
• Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in content strategy, content management, or a closely related communications role
• A strong foundation and background in writing with excellent editorial judgment
• Demonstrate proficiency and comfort using large language models and generative AI tools to accelerate content creation
• Genuinely adaptable and open to change in how technology is used
• A keen eye for video and visual content with the ability to set a creative vision and collaborate with creative partners
• Excel at managing process in a large, complex, highly governed organization
• Capable of running a content workstream end to end, from strategy through execution
• Strong judgment about positioning and the nuances of messaging across distinct audiences
• Experience with project management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional partnering
• High attention to detail to maintain accuracy and consistency across a high volume of content
