    Description

    OverviewJoin our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND as a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this role, you'll lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable, sustained improvements in safety, quality, output, and cost effectiveness. Focus on understanding how current processes are performing, identifying gaps, and delivering high impact improvements that scale across the operation.This role owns and leads a range of projects based on business needs, from cross-functional initiatives to smaller improvements that can be implemented quickly. These efforts may include driving cost reduction, reduce material waste, and increasing throughput. Leverage data to diagnose performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and quantify impact while ensuring sustainable results. You'll spend time working directly with production team members to understand challenges, gather input, and turn ideas into workable solutions.This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys solving complex production related problems and driving improvements. Someone who enjoys leading projects across teams, influence decisions, drive adoption of change, and make sustained improvements.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and lead improvement projects that reduce waste and help teams work more efficientlyDrive cost reduction initiatives across the organization while improving process performanceLeverage data to understand current performance, identify root causes, and quantify business impactParticipate in CI boards and help turn team ideas into actionable improvementsCreate and maintain clear, easy-to-follow documentation and help establish best practices that can be repeated and sustainedLead teams in testing changes, measuring results, and ensuring improvements are maintained over timeQualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to communicate clearly, listen, and build trust with othersStrong computer skills, including Microsoft ExcelThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings or printsDemonstrated experience using structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes, adjust approach, and implement solutionsBachelor's degree in Engineering required; Industrial Engineering strongly preferred7 or more years of relevant experienceWe invite you to See Yourself at MarvinMarvin Composites produces custom fiberglass components used in many of the premium windows and doors manufactured by Marvin, a family-owned and -led company.
