MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott's Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
This position will provide strategic analysis, essential redline guidance based on approved corporate policies and vital contributions towards contract process improvements, in addition to administrative and procedural support to internal and external customers on behalf of the Contracts & Pricing Department. This role acts as a liaison between account executives, regional sales directors, directors of national accounts, and others in processing, negotiating and administration of sales contracts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in a business-related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial sales contracting or contract administration.
Minimum intermediate Word and Excel experience is a must.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience directly related to contract administration, preferably within the biotech/ healthcare industry.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiations and redlining of complex commercial contracts.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and constructively communicate across departmental disciplines while pursuing contract department goals.
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have customer service attitude & good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Self-starter and a multi-tasker.
Ability to work in a high volume, dynamic team environment.
Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
Previous healthcare, biotech or sales industry experience.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 - $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
