You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and termination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of our contracts, from initial drafting and negotiation through to execution, compliance monitoring, and termination.
  • Ensuring all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations, including FAR Part 145, and meet DCAA and DCMA requirements.
  • Reviewing and approving NDAs and vendor agreements to protect our company's interests.
  • Overseeing the administration of contracts, including amendments, extensions, and terminations.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms are fulfilled and disputes are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Providing advice and guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training new staff on contract policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
  • Participating in the development of bidding and contract negotiation strategies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a related field, preferably within the Construction industry.
  • A strong understanding of DCAA and DCMA regulations.
  • Familiarity with FAR Part 145.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Proficiency in contract administration, including managing the lifecycle of contracts, reviewing NDAs, and vendor agreements.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve contract disputes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
