We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Support (SCS) / Team Lead to provide comprehensive acquisition support services for federal procurement activities. The successful candidate will serve as a senior acquisition professional responsible for leading acquisition teams, providing technical guidance, and supporting all phases of the federal acquisition lifecycle, including pre-award and post-award activities.This position requires extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, strong leadership capabilities, and demonstrated experience supporting complex acquisitions exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).Key ResponsibilitiesAcquisition Support & Contract AdministrationLead and support all phases of federal acquisitions, regardless of acquisition type or dollar value.Provide pre-award and post-award acquisition support in accordance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies.Develop acquisition strategies, procurement packages, solicitations, contract awards, modifications, and closeout documentation.Analyze complex contracting issues and recommend appropriate acquisition solutions.Ensure compliance with federal, agency, and regulatory requirements throughout the acquisition process.Support source selection activities and assist in refining evaluation criteria.Conduct market research and acquisition planning activities.Leadership & Team ManagementProvide leadership, technical direction, mentoring, and guidance to acquisition personnel.Review work products for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.Assist in workload management, performance monitoring, and process improvement initiatives.Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and contracting personnel across multiple sites and service lines.Strategic Acquisition SupportDevelop and support strategic acquisition plans.Conduct gap analyses and assess cost elements associated with healthcare resources, services, and products.Standardize equipment, supply, and service requirements across enterprise environments where applicable.Prepare acquisition documentation and procurement packages for review and approval in accordance with VA policies and procedures.Minimum QualificationsExperienceMinimum five (5) years of recent experience within the last seven (7) years supporting comprehensive and complex federal acquisition activities.Demonstrated experience supporting acquisitions exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).Extensive knowledge of:Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)VA Acquisition
