• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field (Master's or JD preferred) rn
• 10+ years of progressive experience in government contracting, preferably within the defense industry rn
• Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition processes rn
• OTA experience rn
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and subcontracts rn
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills rn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines rn
• Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies preferred rn
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one rn

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead the administration, negotiation, and compliance with complex government contracts. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to federal regulations while supporting program execution and business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in U.S. government contracting, strong business acumen, and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced defense environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of government contracts, including proposal support, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout rn
• Interpret and ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and other agency-specific requirements rn
• Serve as a trusted advisor to program managers, finance, legal, and executive leadership on contractual matters rn
• Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) and develop compliant and competitive responses rn
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and modifications rn
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks; develop strategies to protect company interests rn
• Manage contract changes, claims, and disputes in coordination with legal counsel rn
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and audit readiness (e.g., DCMA/DCAA audits) rn
• Mentor junior contracts staff and contribute to process improvements and best practices rn
• Support business development efforts, including capture strategy and proposal reviews rn
