A pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer and supplier in a beautiful Buffalo suburb is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer for an amazing permanent-hire opportunity. The hired incumbent MUST have 8+ years of experience in automation and controls, be authorized to work in the U.S., and MUST possess an accredited Bachelor's Degree or higher to be considered.
PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop SCADA, PC and PLC software applications for automation/controls
Configure networks in an industrial setting (includes reporting and data acquisition)
Produce control system design documents per guidelines (FDA, GAMP, etc.)
Consult with suppliers on acquiring best controls and automation equipment needed for projects
Support all internal and external stakeholders and on-field technicians with controls and automation related needs
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar modality from an accredited institution
8 years or more experience in Controls and Automation
8 years or more experience programming PLCs and HMIs
5 years of experience with MS applications including SQL server
