A Hudson Valley Employer is looking for the right candidate to join our talented team! The right candidate will possess the following: Designs and develop all aspects of electrical control systems for automated industrial machinery. Must be experienced in PLC programming. Familiarity with Automation Direct, Rockwell Products are preferable. Also responsible for integration of HMI, servo and robotic motion, and vision systems via industrial networks. Must be able to specify electrical components, design and document machine electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical. May be responsible for the installation in-house and field technical support of PLC based control systems. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Commission machines and systems, test, debug, and support factory acceptance testing Generate content (text, screen shots) for Operations section of Operation and Maintenance manuals Facilitate discussions with customers and suppliers related to control systems, interfaces, and integration Travel up to 10% (domestic and international) to support commissioning, integration, and site acceptance at customers facilities. Support our Customers by helping diagnose and correct controls-related issues on installed equipment
