Travel: Approximately 20% Domestic & International
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop PLC, HMI, and motion control solutions for automated equipment.
Program and troubleshoot Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems.
Lead controls projects from design through startup and customer acceptance.
Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues during testing and commissioning.
Work closely with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure project success.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Support continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
10+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial automation or machine building.
Strong experience with Siemens and Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs required.
Experience with HMI development and integration.
Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and control system designs.
Experience with safety PLCs, machine safety circuits, and fail-safe designs.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel approximately 20%.
