Jobletics by Compunnel is hiring experienced Senior Cooks to support daily kitchen operations and help ensure quality, consistency, and timely food preparation. The ideal candidate has strong cooking skills and can provide guidance to other kitchen team members.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and established standards
- Lead or assist with daily kitchen food preparation and cooking activities
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, safely, and on schedule
- Monitor food quality, taste, temperature, portion sizes, and presentation
- Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, soups, entrees, and other menu items
- Set up and maintain assigned cooking stations
- Assist with training and directing cooks and kitchen staff as needed
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and kitchen equipment
- Assist with menu preparation and special events when needed
- Help resolve kitchen issues and maintain smooth workflow during busy periods
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Previous professional cooking or commercial kitchen experience required
- Previous lead or senior cook experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen supplies
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and provide direction to other kitchen staff
