About the Role:
You will help shape a welcoming, well-run workplace experience for employees and serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day office support. This role balances employee-facing service with workplace coordination, helping employees navigate both physical and digital workplace tools while supporting a positive, engaging office environment.
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to keep workplace programs, tools, and office information running smoothly. You will also help track and share simple workplace insights that support planning, space decisions, and ongoing improvements to the employee experience.
Dow Jones Real Estate & Workplace Team is seeking a Senior Coordinator who will report directly to the Sr Manager, AMER Real Estate & Global Workplace Evolution.
Location: New York City Office
You Will: Employee Experience & Support
Serve as a friendly, visible point of contact for employees with workplace-related questions or issues.
Provide patient, responsive support for desk bookings, meeting rooms, workplace navigation, and other day-to-day office needs.
Help create a positive office experience by identifying pain points and improving how employees interact with the workplace.
Support workplace communications, how-to resources, and office updates so employees feel informed and supported.
Workplace Operations & Coordination
Help manage and maintain workplace tools such as desk booking, seating, and space management platforms.
Troubleshoot routine booking and workplace system issues in partnership with internal teams and vendors when needed.
Assist in the coordination of employee engagement events in the office, partnering with facilities, comms, and finance to execute.
Reporting & Insights
Track and share regular workplace metrics such as occupancy trends, headcount alignment, and general space usage.
Prepare weekly or monthly summaries that help the team understand how offices are being used.
Use data at a practical level to support recommendations that improve employee experience, space planning, and workplace operations.
Develop feedback loops for employees (pulse surveys, comment gathering, etc) to share metrics of success and areas of improvement for the broader workplace team.
You Have:
3+ years of experience in Workplace Operations, Employee Experience, Office Operations, Real Estate, or a similar coordination role.
Experience supporting employees in a fast-paced office environment.
Comfort working with workplace systems and learning new tools quickly.
A strong eye for detail. A high level of accuracy is required-especially when managing seating charts or financial data where small errors have a large impact.
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with reports, lists, and basic data analysis.
Experience creating or contributing to simple reporting in tools such as Tableau or Power BI is helpful, but advanced technical expertise is not required.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain processes in a simple, approachable way.
