Senior Copywriter – Revenue Marketing

3-Month Contract
Part-Time | Media & Publishing Industry

Our client, a leading global media and publishing company, is seeking a Senior Copywriter to develop compelling, performance-driven copy for a well-known editorial brand. This role will support subscription, membership, acquisition, engagement, and retention marketing across digital and print channels.

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit marketing copy across email, paid social, web, app, SMS, digital ads, video, and print
• Develop direct-response copy focused on subscriptions, memberships, and consumer revenue growth
• Create compelling offer, value proposition, and subscriber acquisition messaging
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across marketing channels
• Develop email subject lines and copy designed to improve engagement and conversion
• Collaborate with creative, editorial, product, and marketing teams
• Support new marketing initiatives, campaigns, and special projects

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of copywriting and editing experience
• Strong background in consumer marketing, direct response, branding, or advertising
• Experience within media, publishing, subscription-based businesses, or agencies strongly preferred
• Experience writing across digital and print marketing channels
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio demonstrating marketing campaigns and copywriting work required
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, English, or related field preferred
