For additional information, please visit www.NRPGroup.com.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis & reporting in addition to the preparation and maintenance of the books and records of multiple entities. The Senior Accountant provides management with financial information for forecasting and budgeting as well as assists with external audits and various projects.Essential FunctionsPrepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs for all entities assignedAssist the accounting analyst in recording daily cash receipts & managing cash in bank accounts across several entities.Perform detailed account reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial statements with supporting detail for all entities assignedPrepare monthly external financial statement package for reporting purposesFollow our company's established accounting processesIdentify, communicate, and develop process improvementsAnalyze financial data and research various accounting issues in order to ensure accuracyAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataAssist with corporate forecasting and budgetingAssist with miscellaneous projects or tasks as assignedEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience; CPA/MBA preferredExperience2 - 4 years of relevant experience; construction industry billing a plusTechnical SkillsIntermediate to Advanced Excel; knowledge of Sage 300 software a plusDriver's License RequiredYesOther RequirementsNoneThis position offers a salary range around $92,000, depending on experience.The NRP Group is committed to a policy of assuring that all employees and applicants for employment are recruited, hired, assigned, placed, transferred, demoted, laid off, terminated, paid, trained, and generally treated during employment on the basis of qualifications and merit; without discrimination due to color, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy or marital status), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, national origin, ancestry, veteran status, military status, disability, genetic information, citizenship, or any other classification or activity protected by federal, state, and local law and ordinances.#J-18808-Ljbffr
