    Description

    Cherry Bekaert Recruitng is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key accounting functions, including month-end reconciliations, ASC 842 and ASC 606 compliance, revenue recognition, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large company environment and be proficient in ERP systems. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform month-end reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
    • Support ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance.
    • Analyze revenue transactions to ensure proper recognition in accordance with GAAP.
    • Conduct variance analysis, investigating and explaining financial fluctuations.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
    • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a large company setting.
    • Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition principles.
    • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
