Responsibilities:

The Senior Corporate Development Analyst supports the Credit Union’s corporate development initiatives, with a primary focus on Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSOs), non-interest income strategies, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).  This role assists in evaluating CUSO investment opportunities, analyzing financial information, preparing and gathering CUSO investment and diligence materials, and supporting the development of new revenue streams.  The position works closely with internal leadership and external partners and reports directly to the SVP of Corporate Development.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze financial statements, business models, and market information to support valuation and investment decisions related to CUSOs and strategic partners. 
• Prepare CUSO investment summaries, financial models, and reports for leadership review. 
• Assist in due diligence activities for CUSO investments, strategic partnerships, and M&A initiatives, including the collection and organization of diligence materials. 
• Participate in meetings and discussions with existing and prospective partners, vendors, and portfolio companies. 
• Support the evaluation of new non-interest income opportunities and emerging revenue streams. 
• Assist in monitoring performance of key metrics of existing investments and partnerships. 
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, risks and opportunities. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership. 
• Support documentation, presentation materials, and internal communications related to corporate development activities. 
• Assist with M&A analysis, modeling, and diligence as needed.

• Working knowledge of valuation concepts, financial modeling, and investment analysis
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience supporting investments, corporate development, consulting, banking, or related financial roles preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual amount offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related consideration. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on the roles specific needs and the candidates qualifications
