This is a highly visible position that will work closely with various department heads and upper management. Offering a growth track, collaborative team environment, great benefits and a good work life balance.Responsibilities:Assist with the oversight of day-to-day operations of the corporate and property accounting functions. in a manner which promotes teamwork and encourages continuous improvement.Supervise Accounts Payable, Receivable and Lease Administration teams.Manage the calculation and collection of management fee, asset management fee and lease commission revenue to the corporate entity.Report cash position and revenue to executive management on a weekly basis.Partner with department heads to ensure cost remain in budget while maintaining accurate forecasting.Oversight of the month and year end close process including corporate allocations, financial statement preparation, accruals, review journal entries and work papers.Assist in FP&A reporting which includes compiling multiple data sources to create reports and metrics for upper management.Analyze and interpret varying revenue and expense streams to project future years performance.Ability to use advanced excel formulas to prepare the corporate budget, analyze reforecast, and evaluate current/subsequent years net income.Reconcile intercompany balances between corporate and operating entities.Maintain internal controls and oversee financial and tax audits.Conduct account reconciliation and analyses and report findings to leadership.Be comfortable implementing ground-up workpapers and other processes.Establish and maintain interdepartmental relationships.Required Qualifications:BA in Accounting / Finance or relevant discipline.5+ years of experience in accounting.
