Senior Correspondent - Washington, D.C.
MBN (Middle East Broadcasting Network) is hiring a Senior Correspondent to lead coverage of U.S. foreign policy, national security, and diplomacy. This role provides original, deeply sourced reporting and analysis on how decisions in Washington shape political, economic, and security realities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Occasional on-site work at our headquarters is required.
What You'll Do
• Break news and deliver exclusive, enterprise-level reporting • Cover the White House, State Department, Pentagon, Congress, and key policy institutions • Translate complex U.S. policy and security developments into clear, accessible stories for Arab audiences • Produce content across video, digital, newsletters, and live formats • Cultivate high-level sources and provide context and analysis for MENA audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or related field 7-10 years of journalism/reporting experience, including 3+ years covering U.S. foreign policy or national security Proven ability to break news and deliver exclusive stories Strong writing, editing, and on-air presentation skills Commitment to accuracy, fairness, and journalistic ethics Arabic proficiency and multimedia experience are a plus
Salary & Benefits
