    Description

    Terrific opportunity to join a growing global manufacturer that is investing in its people, technology, and operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Cost Accountant who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and driving financial insights in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with plant and corporate leadership while gaining exposure to international operations and future career growth. This position also has a path to manager within 12 months.ResponsibilitiesLead standard costing activities, including cost rollups, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.Analyze manufacturing performance, material, labor, and overhead variances, providing actionable recommendations to operations leadership.Partner with plant managers and cross-functional teams to improve inventory controls, costing accuracy, and operational efficiencies.Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, inventory reserves, and financial reporting.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to manufacturing operations.Review and maintain standard costs, bills of material, and inventory transactions.Participate in physical inventories and cycle count programs while ensuring accurate inventory reporting.Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes.Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives as the company continues to expand globally.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis.Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience required.Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.CPA or CMA is a plus but not required.Why You'll Love This OpportunityHybrid work schedule with excellent work/life balance.Join a growing international manufacturer with significant investment and expansion plans.High visibility to executive leadership and operations.Opportunity to make an immediate impact by improving processes and partnering with the business.Competitive compensation, strong benefits, and excellent long-term career growth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
