Senior Cost Accountant

Position OverviewOur client, a growing medical device/industrial manufacturing company in the greater Dayton, OH area is looking for a Cost Accountant.Prepare, analyze and record all manufacturing and inventory related transactionsReviews standard and actual costs for price variancesMaintains accurate inventory files and prepares monthly reportsPrepare weekly manufacturing efficiency and productivity reportsPrepares reports concerning operational analysis and performance such as rework analysis, scrap trend analysis, warranty analysis, sales and margin analysisReview, analyze and maintain standard cost updatesConduct audits of cycle counting processAssists with year-end and interim financial auditsPreferred Qualifications(Not all required)Experience in Cost Accounting at a manufacturing companyProficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with MRP systemsBachelor\'s degree in Accounting or relatedWhat's OfferedUp to $90k base salary plus 10% bonus opportunity#J-18808-Ljbffr
