Senior Cost Accountant Responsibilities:
• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, and annual inventory revaluation processes
• Analyze and explain material, labor, overhead, and purchase price variances
• Maintain labor and overhead rates, cost pools, and inter-unit allocations
• Partner with operations to drive cost reductions and operational efficiency
• Senior Cost Accountant will lead physical inventory counts, cycle count reviews, and inventory reserves
• Support month-end close, audits (SOX/DCAA), and financial system enhancements

Senior Cost Accountant Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in standard costing and inventory valuation
• ERP experience required; SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred
