Senior Cost Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of standard costing, job costing, and inventory valuation methods
• Computer proficiency including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, charts, and dashboards)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of the following preferred: cost modeling, variance analysis, performance benchmarking, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience preferred

• $80K-$120K/year, depending on experience
• Temp-to-hire opportunity

• Drive plant performance through accurate product costing, inventory management, and insightful operational analysis
• Support month-end close activities
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Prepare reporting and perform ROI and cost-benefit analyses
• Collaborate with various departments to support strategic decision-making
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with additional accounting activities including general ledger entries and balance sheet transactions
