We're hiring a Senior Cost Accountant to own close activities, deliver clear analysis, and partner with operations to drive smarter product and inventory decisions.What you'll doLead monthly & quarterly close activities within cost accountingBuild/maintain product standard costs; analyze new product costs to guide development decisionsAudit and improve BOMs; lead costing request initiativesCoordinate annual reviews of inventory standard costs, labor, and overhead rates with ops financeReconcile inventory‑related GL accounts; translate results into actionable insights for stakeholdersPrepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages; explain variances and trends to managementEnsure adherence to accounting policies; help plants resolve accounting issuesContribute to company‑wide policies & procedures on inventory and standard costingWhat you'll bringBachelor's in Accounting (required); CPA or CMA preferred (or in progress)3+ years related experience; manufacturing background strongly preferredAdvanced Excel; solid Microsoft Office skillsERP experience required (Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus)Strength in process improvement, analysis, and clear communicationCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits: generous PTO, medical/dental/vision, company‑paid life & disability, retirement plan optionsEmployee discounts and wellness programsReal impact: partner with operations and product teams, not just the spreadsheet#J-18808-Ljbffr
