Senior Cost Accountant – High-Growth Manufacturing Join to apply for the Senior Cost Accountant role at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS).Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 base salaryWork Model: On-site | Arden Hills, MNResponsibilities Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overheadAnalyze cost variances and partner with operations to identify root causes and corrective actionsReview inventory transactions, monitor reserves, and support cycle count processesSupport new product costing, pricing impact analysis, and "make vs. buy" evaluationsPrepare cost-related reporting packages and contribute to forecasting and budget supportCollaborate cross-functionally to improve costing processes, reporting accuracy, and inventory controlAssist with external audit preparation and compliance documentationQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on cost accounting responsibilitiesStrong understanding of standard cost systems, inventory accounting, and variance analysisERP experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)Excellent Excel and analytical skills with a mindset for continuous improvementThis is a newly created position within a high-growth, private equity–backed global manufacturing company that recently completed a successful carve-out from a larger organization.
