- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and field teams
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cost Analyst:
- Maintain and improve inventory costing accuracy within the ERP system
- Reconcile inventory sub-ledger to general ledger and investigate discrepancies
- Analyze and resolve inventory variances and transaction inconsistencies
- Support month-end close and year-end audit processes related to inventory
- Partner with operations teams to track and validate field inventory assets
- Prepare reporting such as inventory turnover and cost analysis
Qualifications for the Senior Cost Analyst:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or a related analytical role
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or retail environments
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Great Plains or Business Central is a plus!)
- Bachelor’s Degree
