About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cost Engineer with deep expertise in cost management for large-scale, multi-million-dollar construction programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at providing accurate forecasting and reporting to support project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts
- Review and reconcile invoices, commitments, change orders, and allowances
- Prepare and maintain cost reports, variance analyses, and financial updates
- Perform cost-to-complete analysis based on contracts, expenditures, and trends
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data in cost management systems
- Create tools and reports to communicate project performance clearly to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years of cost engineering experience on large, complex construction projects, aviation experience a plus
- Proficiency in cost reporting systems (Prolog highly desirable; PM Web a plus)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Professional certification required (CCE, CCP, or equivalent); PMP or PE desirable
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
Position Details
- Full-time, salaried position (40 hours per week)
- Onsite, Monday - Friday with flexibility for extended hours as needed
