Job Description Summary The International Trade Compliance (ITC) team is responsible for ensuring compliance with global export controls, sanctions laws, and related regulations. The successful candidate will report to the ITC Senior Director, Legal and Investigations, and will work closely with ITC, GE Aerospace programs, and business functions to investigate potential violations of international trade laws and support trade compliance enhancements across the business.Roles and Responsibilities Lead investigations into potential non‑compliance and develop & submit disclosures to government agencies in the U.S. and abroad, as required.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to complete root‑cause assessments and oversee implementation of corrective actions to remediate identified enhancement opportunities.Draft policies and procedures and support development & deployment of policies, procedures, tools, and other infrastructure within ITC and the business.Conduct trade compliance assessments of global sites, functions, and programs.Monitor proposed laws and regulations and provide advice to business stakeholders regarding implications and requirements on GE Aerospace's business strategy.Collaborate with ITC Leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.Provide strategic counseling on trade compliance questions and engage business leadership to drive business execution of ITC enhancements.Participate in relevant trade compliance associations and industry group discussions.Lead engagement and communication with government officials, as required.Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a relevant field.Member in good standing with the State Bar.Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.Desired Characteristics In‑house experience, flexibility & willingness to grow, commitment to compliance & integrity, ability to collaborate across all levels, self‑starter with effective networking, strong time‑management, prioritization, analytical & organizational skills, excellent customer relationship & communication skills, adaptability to manage multiple initiatives, experience applying non‑U.S. export control and sanctions regulations, and ability to identify, analyze, and implement robust compliance systems and tools.Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $190,000 – $256,000. The specific offer may vary based on experience, education, and skills. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary.
