Job Description
The Senior Creative Designer owns the full creative process for an assigned account load of high profile clients, including complex requests across multiple rooftops and dealer groups, and delivers with little to no revisions from director(s). This role pairs expert-level marketing knowledge with strong strategic thinking to produce high-quality, compliant creative on tight timelines, while co-training junior designers and shaping department-wide standards, workflows, and templates.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a portfolio of high profile accounts, including complex requests across multiple rooftops or dealer groups and onboarding of automotive and non-automotive clients, with little to no revisions from director(s).
  • Manage and execute complex, high-priority client requests and creative projects with minimal back-and-forth and oversight.
  • Produce, resize, and adapt core creative assets (PMAX, display banners, social ads, video edits, basic motion graphics, GIFs) for all required placements, quickly learning and executing new asset types outside core strategy as needed.
  • Implement monthly offers and incentives into creative templates, recording dates and times in task comments.
  • Apply research and client insights, in collaboration with account managers, to develop strategic creative solutions and proactively identify A/B testing opportunities with the paid media team.
  • Co-train Level 1 and Level 2 designers on QA processes, compliance standards, and design best practices, and serve as a subject matter expert on CHD creative workflows and brand standards.
  •  Collaborate with Creative and Art Directors to improve team processes, including best practices, asset repositories, and template updates.
  • Develop innovative, outside-the-box creative solutions and self-manage workload, priorities, and deadlines without director reminders or oversight.
  • Conduct first-pass QA on all creative using the CHD QA Checklist and QA GPT before submission, and ensure new onboard, high-priority, or watchlist accounts receive partner and Creative Director QA before release.
  • Confirm compliance approval and document QA results and revisions in the QA tracker before returning work to the Analyst or Account Manager.
  • Maintain accurate Kanban milestones, ClickIQ implementation notes, and TaskIQ requests (with Google Drive asset links) for all creative work.
  • Track creative output (asset type, hours, bandwidth) in monthly breakout reporting.

Required Qualifications: 
  • 4+ years of graphic design experience with a proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality, timely creative while taking full ownership of work.
  • Expert-level understanding of automotive marketing, including compliance standards, promotional offers, OEM requirements, and vehicle models, with the ability to apply that knowledge across additional verticals.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and proficient in Canva and other department platforms.
  • Proven ability to independently manage Tier A, B, C, and D accounts with strong strategic thinking and minimal revisions from directors or clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Digital Marketing/Advertising experience 
  • Knowledge of current trends and design styles
  • Experience working with Brand standards
  • Experience working with Fonts, logos and design standards is a plus
  • Experience with image capture is a plus
