We're a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and ultimately putting our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem. This is your opportunity to join the marketing team supporting The Sims.

This is a collaborative team focused on executional excellence, passionate about world building and story telling. In this dream role you'll work across multiple creative campaigns for The Sims franchise, while reporting to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside internal Creative and Publishing teams to develop treatments, scripts, copy and creative responses that inspire our best ideas and execution

  • Concept and develop campaign executions to fuel our go-to-market campaigns.

  • Partner with studio, production and design teams to uphold our visual look, feel and messaging across various brand and product level campaigns under the guidance of the Creative Director.

  • Support the development of creative presentations for internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment and buy in of our concepts and ideas.

  • Development and documentation of tone of voice guidelines and copy frameworks that ensure cohesion and brand governance as we scale through the voices of creators, influencers and our community.

  • Collaborate closely with our partners to craft work that is faithful to our values and IP, world rules, and the imaginative space of the Sims Universe

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a creative role -- internal creative team or agency experience, with a focus on content creation and craft

  • Strong collaborator and communicator with proven experience in creative work across content creation, copywriting and/or editorial

  • Conceptual thinkers with a strategic mindset, storytelling and script writing skills are essential

  • Experience working on brand and product campaigns from vision to completion, driving the work end to end. In house or agency.

  • Passion for games of all kinds, pop culture and The Sims (of course) a huge plus.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$104,400 - $157,400 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
