    Overview
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Credit Analyst to join our client's financial team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in credit analysis and risk assessment, with the ability to evaluate financial data and provide insights that support lending decisions. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of their credit portfolio and minimizing potential risks associated with lending activities.

    Duties

    • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
    • Perform quantitative analysis and research to forecast potential risks and returns associated with credit decisions.
    • Manage and monitor a diverse portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Utilize financial concepts and methodologies to evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for fraud prevention detection.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for management review.
    • Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
    • Proven experience in credit analysis, risk analysis, or portfolio management within a banking or financial services environment.
    • Experience with Moodys Analytics (WebEquity) or similar software strongly preferred
    • Strong quantitative research skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
