In this role, you will independently lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of AV control systems, user interfaces, and DSP configurations supporting enterprise, education, and government environments.This position offers a dynamic mix of advanced programming, in‑house validation, and on‑site commissioning. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies while collaborating with engineering, project management, and client teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well‑documented AV solutions. If you enjoy solving complex problems, owning system logic end‑to‑end, and seeing your work come to life in real‑world environments, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make an impact.What You'll DoLead programming, testing, and deployment of control systems on Crestron, Extron, and AMX platformsDesign intuitive, consistent touchpanel user interfacesDevelop custom modules, device drivers, and advanced automation logicConfigure, tune, and validate DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.)Review AV drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams for accuracy and feasibilityPerform in‑house system testing and on‑site commissioning, verification, and acceptance testingTroubleshoot complex integrated AV, control, and network issuesSupport project teams, manufacturers, and clients through deployment and close‑outMaintain programming standards, documentation, and version controlTravel to job sites as requiredQualificationsEducation, Experience & Technical SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience5-7+ years of hands‑on Crestron or AMX programming experience in commercial AV environmentsStrong experience with AV control systems, video conferencing platforms, switching hardware, AV‑over‑IP, and DSP configuration/calibrationDeep understanding of audio DSP setup, tuning, and optimizationProven ability to diagnose and resolve complex AV, control, and network‑related issuesRequired CertificationsHarman Certified Control Professional (CP)Extron GC ProCrestron and/or AMX programming certificationsPreferred CertificationsCTS or CTS‑DAdvanced Crestron, Extron, or AMX certificationsNetworking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and reliabilityCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) planPaid vacationAdditional company perksAbout GSTGolden Star Technology Inc.
