Senior Customs Entry Writer

Join a respected international logistics and customs brokerage team where your expertise directly supports the efficient movement of global imports. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customs professional to work with a collaborative organization that values accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Prepare and process customs entries for international imports, with a focus on Wine & Spirits shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations.
-Classify imported goods, prepare entry documentation, submit FDA and other required government filings, and post Prior Submission Corrections (PSC).
-Communicate with U.S. Customs, government agencies, customers, and internal teams while coordinating shipment pickups, deliveries, and customs clearance activities.
-Maintain accurate shipment, billing, and operational records while supporting customer invoicing, payment requests, and overall brokerage operations.



Required Skills & Experience

-Minimum of 5 years of Customs Brokerage import experience with knowledge of multiple commodity classifications and CBP regulations, including FDA and other PGA requirements.
-Strong understanding of customs documentation, tariff classification, duties, taxes, fees, currency conversions, and import compliance procedures.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and strong customer service.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree and/or an active U.S. Customs Broker License.
-Experience with Editrade, TTB, CBMA, ADD/CVD, EPA, Fish & Wildlife, FAA, and other government agency filings.

Pay Rate Range hourly, 28-34
