Senior Cyber Security Engineer

We’re partnering with a client seeking a hands-on Senior Cyber Security Engineer to support security operations, threat monitoring, and incident response efforts in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This Position is ON SITE. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Investigate phishing threats, suspicious activity, and SIEM alerts
• Manage security tickets and incident response workflows
• Support phishing simulations and user awareness initiatives
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen security posture

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years in Cyber Security / Security Operations
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Defender
• Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
• Microsoft Security Center
• Experience with incident response and threat monitoring
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Preferred:

• Microsoft 365 Security experience
• Palo Alto Networks experience
• Background in SOC or incident response environments

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this position is from $50 to $55, depending on experience.
