As a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cybersecurity and enterprise technology initiatives. Working with cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, you'll oversee projects from initiation through implementation while ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
This role requires a strong background in technology project management, experience delivering cybersecurity or infrastructure initiatives, and the ability to lead projects using both Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
Lead the full lifecycle of cybersecurity and enterprise technology projects from planning through implementation and closeout
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work breakdown structures
Coordinate cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and business stakeholders
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and change requests
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project status meetings when appropriate
Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and project updates for leadership
Track project financials, forecasts, resource utilization, and vendor expenditures
Coordinate vendor deliverables, contracts, and third-party project activities
Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve schedule or resource constraints
Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with organizational governance standards
Support project audits, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong working relationships with technical teams, business partners, and executive stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology or cybersecurity projects
Experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource management
Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities with experience managing multiple priorities
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in enterprise technology environments
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or other Agile certifications
Experience managing cybersecurity initiatives including security infrastructure, identity management, cloud security, governance, or compliance projects
Experience using Planisware, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
Experience managing professional services vendors and technology contracts
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and enterprise security operations
Experience within utility, energy, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated industries
Strong financial planning, forecasting, and resource management experience
