The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support enterprise security initiatives and ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DoN) cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Zero Trust Framework, Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes, and FISMA-related audit and compliance. This role will focus on security control implementation, vulnerability management, and supporting secure cloud and containerized environments across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
+ Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls aligned with DoD/DoN guidelines, NIST frameworks, and organizational policies.
+ Contribute to the development and execution of Zero Trust security strategies.
+ Manage ATO compliance activities, including documentation, evidence gathering, and coordination with authorizing officials.
+ Perform vulnerability management, leveraging tools such as AWS Security Hub, container scanning solutions, and other enterprise security platforms.
+ Provide security expertise for containerized deployments and cloud environments to ensure secure architectures and operational practices.
+ Lead or support FISMA-related audits and compliance efforts, ensuring timely remediation of findings and continuous monitoring.
+ Collaborate across teams to assess risks, recommend mitigations, and drive continuous security improvements.
+ Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or engineering, with a focus on DoD/DoN environments.
+ Strong understanding of DoD/DoN cybersecurity policies, including RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust principles.
+ Hands-on experience with ATO compliance processes and security control implementation.
+ Proficiency in vulnerability management using tools such as AWS Security Hub and container scanning technologies.
+ Experience supporting FISMA audits and compliance activities.
+ Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
+ US Citizenship required, US Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance required
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
+ Experience working with the Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) and The Office of the Navy SCA.

+ Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent.
+ Experience with federal cybersecurity reporting tools and governance platforms.
+ Familiarity with modern DevSecOps environments and automated security tooling.
+ Experience supporting Navy or DoD cloud initiatives, including hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
