Senior Cybersecurity Architect

ROLE SUMMARY

Leads the architecture and design of cybersecurity solutions to protect federal networks. Translates strategic cyber objectives into engineering outcomes across domains including Zero Trust, IoT and cloud security, automation and orchestration (A&O), identity and access management, and machine learning. Works independently and mentors or leads team members.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•   8+ years in cybersecurity, including 5+ years leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations

•   5+ years in network architecture and design

•   Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions and roadmaps aligned to NIST 800-207 and the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture

•   Experience leading product selection (perimeter defense, zero trust, A&O, AI/analytics, secure DevOps, IAM, or NAC)

•   Ability to advise senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) on cybersecurity capability maturation

•   Education/experience: Associate's + 10 yrs, Bachelor's + 8 yrs, Master's + 6 yrs, or 12+ yrs in lieu of a degree

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

•   Baseline: IAT Level III

•   Admin privileges (PUA): Computing Environment

•   Advanced: IASAE Level II

•   CSSP-IS

Cert path: ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M CSSP-IS certification (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND) within 30 days of offer acceptance; and a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP) within 45 days of the CSSP-IS date
