A leading Fortune 100 financial services organization is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a high-impact enterprise data team supporting large-scale business and data transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible projects that influence how data is managed, governed, and leveraged across the organization.

The ideal candidate is analytical, self-directed, and passionate about turning complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. You'll collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and data governance partners to drive meaningful improvements in data quality, accessibility, and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document data requirements and use cases.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, relationships, data quality issues, and business opportunities.
  • Design logical data models and data element relationships to support scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop requirements for data monitoring, data integrity controls, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support metadata management, data lineage documentation, and data governance initiatives.
  • Assess upstream system changes and evaluate potential impacts to downstream data consumers.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement sustainable data solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to data enablement strategies that improve accessibility, consistency, and trust in organizational data.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced SQL experience including writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex queries.
  • Experience with data validation, profiling, transformation, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
  • Ability to document business requirements, technical specifications, data mappings, and transformation logic.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and analytics.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud data technologies including BigQuery, Dataplex, or related platforms.
  • Familiarity with SSIS packages and database job scheduling.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of Jira or other Atlassian tools.
