What's In Store For You

• Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
• Hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ
• Work directly with cybersecurity, GRC, and data engineering stakeholders on enterprise-level initiatives.
• Gain exposure to cybersecurity data warehouse initiatives and the data supporting governance, risk, compliance, and controls programs.
• Candidates should be comfortable traveling to a New York City office for stakeholder meetings when needed.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Gather, organize, assess, and cleanse data originating from enterprise applications, spreadsheets, reports, and upstream source systems.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand source data and translate business needs into clear technical and data requirements.
• Support the ingestion and preparation of cybersecurity and GRC information for an enterprise cyber data warehouse.
• Analyze datasets for trends, patterns, inconsistencies, and business-relevant insights.
• Work closely with data development teams to improve data quality and ensure information is accurately represented downstream.
• Support reporting and visualization needs using Excel and business intelligence tools.
• Contribute to projects involving GRC data, controls testing, and potential automation of controls-testing processes.

Do you bring proven success in data analysis, requirements gathering, and enterprise data quality?

• Bring substantial professional experience in data analysis or a closely related data-focused role; senior-level experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to investigate, cleanse, validate, reconcile, and organize data from multiple upstream sources.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating stakeholder needs into actionable technical or data requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience analyzing business data.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
• SQL and relational database experience is highly valuable.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance data experience is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to controls testing or automation of controls-testing activities is an additional advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize patterns, discrepancies, and data-quality issues.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work across technical development teams and business stakeholders.
