Role - Senior Data Architect
Location - Irving, TX

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Data Management
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards.
- Architect end-to-end data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Lead modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Define data governance, metadata management, lineage, and data quality frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Design real-time and batch data processing architectures.
- Provide architecture guidance to development teams
- Establish enterprise standards for master data management (MDM), reference data, and analytics enablement.
- Support AI/ML, reporting, BI, and advanced analytics initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering.
- Expertise in SQL and database technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms:
o Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o Microsoft Azure
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Big Data & Data Processing:
o Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Databricks
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools:
o Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Airflow
- Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses:
o Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks
- Expertise in data modeling techniques:
o Conceptual, Logical, Physical Data Models
o Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
o Data Vault Modeling
- Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks.
- Experience in API integrations, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Generative AI / AI-ready data architecture
- Knowledge of data mesh, data fabric, and modern data platforms
Architecture & Leadership
- Domain expertise in Banking and Financial sector
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Experience defining data standards, reusable frameworks, and architecture governance.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions with CXOs, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Data Analytics / Solutions Architect
- Snowflake Certification
- Databricks Certification
- TOGAF (mandatory)
